Hi, I’m Debra from Niagara Falls. Thank you for the invitation. I’m not as familiar with the TdM and look forward to learning from all the great people here. I am kind of out of practice with any of my decks and appreciate this opportunity to get back in.

Hi everyone and hi William! My name is Reece. I admin the TdM group on Facebook. Thank you for the invite here. It’s nice to have a forum devoted exclusively to the TdM. I don’t get the chance to respond to posts on our FB group out of fear of FB bots censoring me and potentially being banned from my own group. (It’s a genuine concern Admins on Facebook have!) And other tarot forums do not have much participation in their TdM subforums, so I am looking forward to seeing what we can get into here.

Hello, nice meeting you all! My name is Sophie, I’m an artist and designer in California.
I’ve been curious about Tarot for a few years now, mostly learned on my own, then I took the Artisan course last September, which was great. Looking forward to more discussion here!

Hello and thank you for the invite.
I’m Scott from Austin Tx. I introduced myself to Tarot during the quarantine summer and became fixated with TdM. I look forward to being exposed to opinions, insights, and more from this community.

Hi everyone.
I’m Mark Richfield from Esquimalt BC Canada.
If I nip down to the beach I can see the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.
Long time fan of tarot.
I sit mainly in the Enrique Enriquez camp with a foot in the Camelia Elias one and the other foot in my own camp.
I, for one, struggled with tarot.
I started exploring tarot in the early '80s via Crowley’s Thoth deck, however I could never really get behind that system. As I looked further in other magical and New Age directions I found more dissatisfaction.
Nothing fit me.
I stumbled into the Marseille via Jodorowsky.
I liked it better, but it was still not a good fit.
Then I found Enriquez’s system by way of the Tarology film.
Finally, a system that made sense.
Plus I’m an artist, so it doubly made sense to me.
In the film I found Elias, checked her out and liked many of her theories.
As Kilgore Trout would say, “So it goes.”

Hello and Aloha

I’m Nicole. I live on the island of Maui in Hawaii.

I’ve lived here since 2011, I moved from WA State but I am originally from California.

I have been into cards since I was a teen.

I have moved in and out of using them over the years, at this point I’ve been using cards regularly since 2016.

In December of 2022 I opened my own Tarot and Oracle shop in Haiku, Maui.
The planning and building out of the space took over a year.
The shop manifested in 2021 when I had decided to leave Maui and go back to WA.

I made the decision to make major changes in my my life, end my marriage, quit my job and move…

Well, the Universe, and Maui, had other plans for me…

I guess I had to make those major decisions and changes to allow my current life to manifest.

I am thrilled with how the shop has turned out.
The journey of the shops creation and now the running of the shop has been an amazing period of patience, learning, and growth for me.

To be a part of the community here is like nothing else, I am truly blessed.

I use mostly the RWS, I use Oracle as well.

My interest in TDM is definitely growing and my intention is to bring TDM into the shop very soon.

My shop is called Ace of Cups.

I do have a website (it is terrible because I suck at web stuff, please forgive me) www.aceofcupsmaui.com

I also have Instagram and Facebook @ace.of.cups.maui

I’m looking forward to getting to know and learning TDM with you all here on this forum.

Thank you for the invite William.

Greetings everyone, I am delighted to be part of this community of Tarot enthusiasts and professionals. My name is Jan Tetteroo, and I have been a practicing Druid for over 30 years. My passion for Tarot stems from my studies in Druidism, which led me to explore the Tarot’s rich symbolism and archetypes.

I am based in Ireland, where my wife and I run the Druid Grove of Anu, a center dedicated to teaching and sharing the Druid path with people from all over the world. Tarot, and divination in general, has been an integral part of my druid education.

I am a professional tarot reader, reading at Holistic Fairs all over Ireland (33 shows this year). My go-to deck so far is the Thoth Tarot, but I am also familiarizing myself with the Marseilles Tarot and Rider-Waite-Smith decks. I believe that each deck has its own unique energy and personality, and I enjoy exploring their nuances and meanings.

Hello everyone!
I am so delighted to be here among all of you!
My name is Mascha and I love Tarot, especially my interest and practice are centered around Tarot de Marseille! I also love my Lenormand, Sibilla and (my most recent interest) Geomancy.
I’m based in Newcastle, Australia. My cartomancy journey started in December 2015, when I acquired my first two decks (yes I bought 2 on that same day), which were of RWS lineage. Fast forward 9 months, and I discovered Marseille Tarot and never looked back! I’m one of the people who found TdM very charming and attractive at first sight, and that attraction also came with that sense of knowing that it was THE lineage for me.
In my journey of learning cards, online tarot community has been EVERYTHING to me, which inspired me to start my YouTube Channel Musings by Mascha and Insta Page with the intention for us, tarot lovers, readers, collectors and tarot history enthusiasts to connect and share our decks, knowledge and practices, to discuss a variety of forms of cartomancy & divination, to chat about time-tested healing practices and to interact with tarot teachers and deck creators through the Live Musings With feature I have on my channel.
I can talk about cards all day and I find much enjoyment in featuring/reviewing/doing walkthroughs of the special card decks we are so privileged to have access to!
Thank YOU, William for the invitation and for creating this forum!

Hi all. My name is Dave Dodds. By day, I’m a filmmaker and journalist, but in my spare time I spend my hours as something of a conceptual magician and mentalist. Tarot has opened up many doors of creativity for me, encouraging stronger storytelling and less “whammy” sort of magic. I’m excited to participate in this forum!

Hi to everyone. I am Dave.

Long time tarot interest from around the ga elf 16. Like most of you, over time, collected and tried out many decks.

For the last few years, my interest lies with Enrique and Camelia, and a few other likeable characters like Jean-Michel David, Anonymous, Jean-Claude Flornoy , Katz, and even more… The Noblet is the deck of choice, although I appreciate those who like decks for different occasions.

The study of Zen and Consciousness of Being keeps tarot an interest more than a passion these days.

Glad to be part of this community.
I have studied the Tarot since I was 18. At that time I drew my first set of Major Arcana cards for my own personal use(images of which can be seen on my FaceBook page).
During my initial study of the Tarot I was first guided by my exposure to Pamela Colman Smith’s wonderful fairy like images.
I also fell in love with the Marseille deck and all of its variants.
I joined BOTA for 10 years and benefitted greatly from Paul Foster Case’s mail order lessons.
I corresponded with Israel Regardie and studied the Golden Dawn system for the Tarot, eventually contributing a chapter on the numerical structure of Enochian in his last book on the Golden Dawn.
My own insight into the secret images of the Waite deck was published in my 12th chapter of The Eastern and Western Mysteries.
My insights into Case’s Tarot deck was published in my New Dimensions for the Cube of Space.
My insights into the sexual imagery of Crowley’s Book of Thoth can be found in my Genesis of the Book of the Law.
Recently I published a chapter in The Complete Book of Ceremonial Magick which clearly delineated the astrological symbolism of the Tarot in the Golden Dawn tradition.
Currently I am creating the Pontifex Tarot with the German artist Nil Orange that bridges both the French and British esoteric systems for the Tarot.

Hello to all magical and mystical comrades,

My name is Alexander my close friends call me Alex. A thumbnail sketch about me. I was born in New York, Queens, my mother was from Cuba living in Queens when she met my father who was from Italy Sicily. At the age 2 we went to Cuba for a couple years before returning to the United States, Eagle Rock, California. I had to learn English to start school. My parents put me in Catholic school. I was expelled from catholic school at the age of six. Experienced seeing a bright white light while staying with my grandma who was reading me a Bible story. The light was so bright everything disappeared including myself.
17 years later I was drafted during the Vietnam war. Wrote an anti war pamphlet with a French soldier who had just returned from Vietnam. We were caught, court martialed with three charges. Disloyal to the troops of the USA, conspiracy, and larceny for using military paper.
One night after the French soldier and I had taken some LSD on the weekend as we waited to be tried I had that same feeling I had when I was six years old. It was like an electromagnetic current started in my chest except this time the white lite didn’t burst open causing everything to disappear. Instead a voice in my head told me how to beat the court-martial. Any way to make a long story short the voice told me to get a military lawyer, to be tried first and separately from my friend, and to do it immediately the next morning.
We were found not guilty on all charges, received an honorable discharge at the age twenty, went to college on the GI benefits, became a Psychiatric Technician working in the mental hospitals in LA California for years. Took a break from the hospital and became interested in Mysticism, and philosophy. Saw an add in the news paper hiring psychics. I passed and worked on a psychic hot line for about a year doing tarot readings. Then I worked at the Psychic Eye book store doing live one on one readings.
I studied mysticism and philosophy. I also joined an improve group when I became interested in magic illusions.
