I’m Cosette, a Cuban-American living in Melbourne, Australia.
Mostly I blog about my spiritual life, which includes my enthusiasm for tarot. My high school English teacher introduced me to it and gave me her RWS deck in 1995 when I was about 17. I still have that deck, and the RWS is my favourite system.
It’s nice to be here. The last time I participated in a tarot forum was at Aeclectic.
Hi, I’m Igor. I live in Sydney, Australia. I’ve been learning tarot for about 5 years now, though it’s mainly been RWS. In the last year or so I’ve slowly been getting into Marseille.
Good evening! My name is Carmen. Tarot is something I’ve only come to since the Covid lockdown. I’m fascinated by how our imaginations are constantly seeking patterns and meaning. I love the idea of making our own magic and our own connection with the numinous.
Hi! My name is Nat. I’ve been reading tarot for about two years here and there, but recently decided to be more consistent about it. I’m thinking of going pro, who knows? LOL Great being here!
My name is Daniel Quintana (professionally I go by Byron Grey) and I’m based in Casper, WY. I entertain using trickery, mystery, and all the “Grey Areas” in between. Tarot was one of the areas of divination I refused to look at for quite sometime until one day it just “called” to me. So here I am! My social media handles are all @wyomingmagician as well as my website.
Hello there! I’m Michael M. Hughes, and I’ve been fascinated by tarot since getting my first deck, the James Bond 007 Tarot Set, when I was 11. I’ve been reading tarot professionally for over 25 years and teaching tarot courses for over a decade. I am a huge fan of the Marseille tarot, but teach using both the Marseille and the Smith-Waite. In my professional readings I also often reach for Robert M. Place’s Alchemical Tarot.
I’m also an author (novels and nonfiction) and my most recent book is Magic for the Resistance: Rituals and Spells for Change (Llewellyn). I’m currently working on my next course, Tarot Magic, which will begin this spring.
I love talking and writing about tarot, so thank you for inviting me to this community, @WilliamRader!
Thanks for your invitation to join the forum! I am Phil Campbell. I have read and studied tarot since the mid 1970’s, as well as a wide range of other esoteric subjects. Otherwise, I am a musician and music teacher in Palo Alto, CA.
Hello everyone!
My name is Diana. I’m a counselor and a reader and a cat and tarot lover. I’m from New Orleans but I now live in South Dakota for work. I’ve been reading tarot on and off for 20+ years, but have somehow managed to avoid Marseille decks until this year. I’m hoping to study up and practice and maybe get some pointers?
I was introduced to the world of tarot and oracle cards a couple of years ago. Although I’m pretty new to Tarot de Marseille, I have fallen in love with it! Five months ago I got my first Noblet and Conver by Artisan Tarot and since then I’ve been studying and practising almost daily.
I am a Reiki healer- teacher, a Yoga practitioner, a drummer, a wannabe writer, a wife and a mother of a three year old boy who likes to squeeze my cards if I accidentally let them approachable.
Before I became a healer, I was a gig promoter for rock/ metal, mostly American bands but after doing it for ten years I felt this circle was completed. So I left Athens and moved with my other half in a little house surrounded by pine trees, olive trees and fig trees, a few metres away from the beach, in a city next to Marathon, Greece.
If you ever visit my country, I would be glad to meet you and/or give you any tips you’ll need.
Hi I am Ann-Marie I have been reading tarot for more than 30 years. I have lan interest and love for all things occult and I am happy to be part of the discussion of like minds.
Hi! I’m Isabel from Mexico. A few months ago I discovered my passion for tarot, especially the one of marseille, I’m basically new to this. But, it’s good for me to read people who share a love for Marseilles and Artisan Tarot decks
My name is Willow. I’ve been reading tarot (and studying) for most of my life; 46+ years. I am not on line a lot as I work pretty heavy hrs. I do have a FB presence but gave up on other SM platforms due to a shortage of spoons, and metas inability to deal with compromised accounts.
Hullo!
Thanks for the invite. I’m in New Zealand. I dabbled in the tarot since the '80s using it sporadically with just the Mythic Tarot and the Barbara Walker decks. At some point I fell out of the use of it. Just about a year ago I came back to practising the tarot, in a more dedicated way this time around.
Tarot des Ambiguities is the first Artisan deck in my wee collection - and I’m still swooning over it!
[I also go by FlipMouse & Nefleurious in places]
Nice to meet you all!!
I’m Anjella, from Melbourne, Australia. I’m a photographer, currently doing my PhD in photography, the research of which has led me into the world of ai which has become a passion and fascination to me, and also a means of future-proofing my career.
I have been reading tarot since I was a teenager in the late 80’s, though generally just for myself. I’ve always wanted to create my own tarot deck, but didn’t feel that a photographic deck was the way. I was involved in ai early on and that suddenly felt like it had the potential. I collect tarot decks but had never found ‘the one’ and so designed a deck that spoke to me perfectly and reflected what I saw in each card. To my surprise, everyone who saw it started asking me to buy one, so I decided to release it for sale. I have since designed and created a matching oracle deck and I’m honestly amazed at how many people get back to me and tell me that it’s also their ‘the one’. I’m now have several other decks in various stages, including, ironically, a photographic one. I now have a business at www.lilithandthemachine.com.au and am loving it and the people I get to meet.
Hung
The devil got me hung
Fool circle I am turned
Upside down, bare foot and bound
And golden locks spill coins
Stars play out cross the sky
A show of force a judgement call
The wheel still spins the tower is rent
And golden locks spill coins
I hold to this celestial form
The world awaits perhaps an emperor’s throne
The full moon hangs in a darkening sky
Things look different in the moonlight
Oceans from my body pour.
I see through my devil eye.
Unstoppable force, immovable form.
And violets adorn my hair.
The devil got me hung. (I sing stars play out etc)
Fool circle I am turned
Upside down, bare foot and bound
And golden locks spill coins
Oceans from my body pour
I see through my Devil eye
Unstoppable force immovable form
The scent of violets fill the air
Hello, my name is Lynn Page and I am in Newport News VA. I started my tarot studies as a teenager with a TdM deck in the mid 1970’s. I put it away when I started collage and only occasionally thought about them. Several years later later I had this dream where a friend gave me a set of keys. Like a really big ring of keys. It didn’t make any sense, and I never mentioned it to him. A few months later for Christmas he gave me a set of RWS tarot cards. On the back of each card was a key! Even though I have collected a few other decks over the years, this is still my “go to” deck. My reintroduction to TdM was through Artisan Tarot’s Kickstarter for the Jean Noblet deck. I now work with that deck too, but only the Trump cards so far.
