This is a reply to @JOSTIC, who posted in our introduction thread. She asked about using AI images and photography for a website she created for a tarot reader.
For websites, I think it is best to use photos of the reader and their space. AI images are very impersonal and unprofessional. Examples of photos may include her deck collection, her reading space, and her reading for clients.
I suggest hiring a professional photographer, but I understand people may be working with a limited budget. This is why AI photos are often used; itโs a cheap solution. However, I suggest reaching out to local colleges that have photography programs. Their students are often looking for subjects to include in their portfolios.
This is how I got my first headshots. A friend in a photography program took amazing photos that I used on my website. If I could somehow not age, I would still be using them.
