As you know this is one of my favorite tarot books.
And the point is that Italo Calvino, in the Tavern of the Crossed Destinies, used the Ancient Tarot de Marseille by Paul Marteau (Grimaud), which is based on the Conver Tarot, not on the Claude Burdel as stated in the text of the first picture.
I’d say that the person who wrote that didn’t investigate enough.
